Once I'm away from Japan, what I miss is...
Convenience Stores!
I know US have many, but totally different.
Japanese ones sell so many different stuffs, not only food but also magazines, cosmetics and so on. They are really convenient. If you need something, you'll find it there. In Tokyo, they are almost everywhere, you can find one within 10 min just walking.
At the same time, I miss a life I could go out for the convenience store midnight since I was bored or I just needed one or two stacks to fill me. I had one within one min walking. Sometimes I bought lunch or quick dinner, and they microwaved for me.
The truth is that I don't know so much about US ones, but the one I know is different from Japanese ones even though it is 7-11.
The 7-11 here doesn't have much compare to Japan. My colleague told me that 7-11 in Taiwan sell lot of yummy foods compare to here. She gave me a bag of Dried Sweet Plum her brother brought back from 7-11 in Taiwan. They were so good and the best Dried Sweet Plum ever.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment! I heard 7-11 in Taiwan and Korean are also good. I like certain food from each convenience store... there are so many yummy stuffs and I cannot choose one!
